In 1968 Oscar Troisi and his wife Idonie started a delicatessen business on their farm in Salisbury Rhodesia. (Now Harare, Zimbabawe).
Oscar believed that only the best meats and spices were good enough for his customers, and his sausages, salamis and hams are produced to traditional European recipes.
This commitment to quality and service continues today, more that 50 years later.
Today the Troisi family operate a modern manufacturing plant in Pietermaritzburg (KwaZulu-Natal) continuing Oscar’s tradition and dedication. Oscar’s standard of high quality and excellent natural flavours are recognised by major stores and their sausages, salamis and hams have received complements at fine food outlets and fairs around the country.
